Marshall MacDonald
Marshall is a junior with a Crime and Justice Studies Major and double minors in Legal Studies and Philosophy. As the President of SGA, his impact on campus is remarkable. Since his sophomore year, Marshall has been an integral part of the senate. Passionate about creating social change, Marshall prioritizes fairness and justice for all students on campus. He is honored to serve as the point of contact for anyone in need, offering assistance and support. With a strong belief in the power of collaboration, Marshall eagerly spearheads the movement to build the best SGA possible. Bridging the gap between administration, SGA, and students is a key priority for Marshall as the Student Body President. He recognizes the importance of effective communication and works tirelessly to foster strong relationships. Through open dialogue, he strives to create an inclusive and harmonious environment that promotes unity and progress. Marshall's leadership shines through his commitment to the campus community. With his unwavering determination and genuine desire to make a difference, he embodies the values of fairness, justice, and empathy. Treasurer
Nicole Kach
Nicole is a senior majoring in Political Science with a minor in Communications. She has served as a part of the senate since 2021 and has since focused on improving the student population. During the 2022-2023 academic year, Nicole served as the Academic Affairs Committee Chair, with the work of her committee revolving around bettering the student experience by enhancing lines of communication between students and faculty. With Nicole serving as SGA treasurer, her biggest priorities involve making sure that all students are equally represented and that funds are distributed appropriately. Another major priority of Nicole's is education, where all students understand and are aware of the financial processes of UMass SGA. She wants to act within the best interests of the students and constantly drives to make UMass Dartmouth a better place for all students.

Recording Secretary
Jackie O'Hare
Jackie is a sophomore with a double major in Political Science and Anthropology. She hopes to use her position to make the campus a better place for all students. Jackie believes the SGA should be a safe space where students feel comfortable voicing their concerns and asking questions about their community. As Recording Secretary, her responsibilities revolve around communication between the Executive Board and the Senate as well as the maintenance of proper documentation in SGA. This includes taking Meeting Minutes, creating meeting Agendas, keeping a record of attendance and information, and sending informational emails to senators. Jackie is a good person to talk to if you have any questions surrounding documented information within the SGA or would like clarification on subjects discussed in the posted Meeting Minutes.

Vice President
Gent Haviari
Gent is a Junior majoring in Political Science, with a concentration in Pre-Law, and Philosophy, with a minor in Legal Studies. Gent has been with SGA for two years, ever since joining as a First-Year, with a commitment to helping students and his peers in feeling proud to be a part of the UMass Dartmouth community. As Vice President, Gent leads the Policy Committee, which handles student organizations’ constitutions and amendments to the SGA Constitution and By-Laws. In addition, he also leads the Committee Council, which carries out cooperative work between the committees within SGA. The role of Vice President is key in assuring SGA’s policies and procedures are being followed, and Gent brings an experienced and keen eye with him. Gent will continue to ensure equity, fairness, and a progressive approach to SGA.

Corresponding Secretary
Doreen Darko
Doreen is a Senior majoring in Economics and has a triple minors in Computer Science, Business Administration, and International Business. Doreen transferred to UMD with the aspiration of making a change, and joining SGA was a significant stepping stone in achieving development for the UMD campus community. Her role as SGA's Corresponding Secretary involves connecting the Student body with SGA through Public Related events/activities, and bringing student concerns, thoughts, and opinions to administrators. As our Corresponding Secretary, Doreen is a liaison between students and administrators. She will continue advocating for SGA and the student body by planning events and activities that unite the student body.
